On Saturday, 3 people including a couple died on the spot when a Balero jeep overturned at Tinau Bridge in Butwal. The deceased have been identified as 71-year-old Tilakram Khanal of Butwal-12 Naigaon, his wife Gauri Khanal, 67, and Hari Neupane, 32, a jeep driver.

While bringing Gauri Khanal to Lumbini Regional Hospital from Naya village for treatment of asthma, the jeep went out of control and hit the divider of the bridge and overturned, Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijayraj Pandit of District Police Office Butwal said. He said that the jeep met with an accident after crossing the bridge.

It is said that the jeep belongs to Arghakhanchi catering. The body has been taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for postmortem.
