After 18 years in Rupandehi, the absconding defendant of the duty killing case has been arrested. Savik Silautia gavis of the district, ward no. 6 Pujari Yadav, a priest named Khadga, who currently lives in Marchwari rural municipality 5 Laxmipur, was arrested by the police on Tuesday.

On June 12, 2064, the court sentenced Yadav to 20 years imprisonment in the case of duty killing. 

Yadav was arrested by a team deployed from Rupandehi area police office on Tuesday. Naveen Paudel, the police spokesperson of District Police Office Rupandehi informed that the district jail office Rupandehi was called to pay his imprisonment on Tuesday.
