At the ongoing Sunwal Industrial Trade Fair in Sunwal, West Nawalparasi, the stalls of local products attracted the attention of the observers.
Compared to the stalls of big companies and commercial houses, the attraction of the observers was seen in the stalls where honey, fruit nurseries, handicrafts, dalo, tapri, dhakatopi, and amriso produced by the locals were kept.
Mela organizers have arranged for free display for the products of domestic and small industries in their district, said Ramesh Karmacharya, president of Sunwal Industry and Commerce Association, the organizer of the fair.
"We have connected the festival at the local level with the exhibition and marketing of local products," he said, "The audience has shown more interest in agricultural production techniques and handicrafts."
The festival will run from November 12th till Monday.
