The Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chetnarayan Acharya, has said that a village-wide campaign should be launched now. He said that it is necessary to request the people who have left the city to return to the village as the development infrastructure including road, electricity, education, health road infrastructure has reached the villages.

Inaugurating the historical Golden Jubilee Festival of Birendra Secondary School in Malarani Rural Municipality-2 of Arghakhanchi on Saturday, Chief Minister Acharya said that since the village schools have graduated and post-graduate teachers with physical infrastructure, they no longer have to camp in the city to teach their children.

He said that they should live in the village, produce food, eat clean and fresh food and send their children to schools near their homes. "You don't have to live in the city for convenience, the state has brought all the facilities available in the city to the villages," he said, "All the facilities are available in the villages, including highways, electricity, communication, primary health care in the villages, water pipes and modernization in agriculture. Now it is necessary for those who entered the city to return to the village for that facility.'
