Construction of a 15-bed hospital has started in Rohini Rural Municipality of Rupandehi. Laying the foundation stone of the hospital to be built in Rohini-3 Lakshminagar on Saturday, Village Chairman Vidya Prasad Yadav said that after the construction of the hospital in the village, it will be easy to treat patients from Rohini along with Omasatiya Rural Municipality and West Navalparasi district.
'The situation of having to go out of the village even for general treatment has ended', he said, '1 Bigha 11 Kattha area land has been allocated for the hospital.'
He said that an agreement has been signed with Aakriti Everest Gangotri Devi JV, Butwal-8 to construct a hospital building at a cost of Rs 11 crore 23 lakh 42 thousand 168. According to the contract, the construction company should construct the hospital building by 22nd October 2083.
