A youth was arrested in Ghorahi on Tuesday evening with the drug brown sugar.

The police informed that 3 grams and 420 milligrams of brown sugar were recovered from 30-year-old Birendra Budhamgar of Parivartan Rural Municipality-6, Rolpa, who was walking suspiciously in Burma Chowk, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-13.

District Police Spokesperson DSP Ishwar Thapa said that the brown sugar was found hidden in five pouches tied with thread.

He informed that the old man is under control and further investigation is being done.
