The Lumbini state government has decided to expand the services of the transport management office in Kohalpur in Banke.
Spokesperson of the government and Minister of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives Dinesh Panthi said that the meeting held in Deukhuri on Monday decided to expand the services of the Transport Management Office in Kohalpur from Patke check pass of the transport sector.
Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya presided over the meeting to expand the services of the Transport Management Office under the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Transport Management, Under the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, it has been decided to approve the Second Amendment Procedure 2081 for Smart Agricultural Village Program.
According to the revised procedures, the protection, promotion and development of smart agricultural villages that have reached the end of their term and have been completed will be under the responsibility of the local government. The Smart Agricultural Village Program was conducted in partnership with the state, local governments and farmers. The meeting also decided to manage the budget and programs within the Ministry of Social Development.
The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens was merged into the Ministry of Social Development. Youth and Sports under the Ministry of Social Development has been made a separate ministry. Spokesperson Panthi said that after the division of the ministry, it was decided to manage the budget and programs separately.
