17 people were arrested in Ghorahi on Monday for playing Kauda. District Police Spokesperson DSP Ishwar Thapa said that the police team arrived on the basis of a tip-off that Thakur Khanal of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-15, Amrit Toll was playing Kuda to lose money.
He informed that they were found playing kauda at 12:30 in the night and arrested and 1 lakh 52 thousand 55 rupees cash was also recovered from them along with the kauda.
DSP Thapa said that further investigations are being conducted to keep them under control.
