New Capital College, an educational institution in eastern Chitwan, held an inspiring interaction program with actor Rajesh Hamal on Monday, focusing on the book 'Yug Dehi Yug Samm', as part of a special program being organized to mark the 25th anniversary of its establishment, i.e. its silver jubilee.
In a special dialogue on the theme 'From School to Cinema Age' organized at the college premises in Ratnanagar Municipality-4, Tandi, college principal Bhupendra Dhital interacted with Hamal on various topics including cinema, life, struggle, society and the role of the young generation.
During the interaction, Hamal urged the students not to compare themselves with others and said that every person has different abilities and talents. He believes that if you can identify your abilities and combine them with continuous hard work and dedication, success will follow you.
'You have some special ability, you should identify it and move forward with continuous hard work,' Hamal said, 'If you are committed to your abilities, your parents will definitely understand it.'
Hamal, urging the parents present at the program to understand the desires, interests and attitudes of their children, mentioned that the talents and thinking of each child are different. Emphasizing the importance of education, he said that discipline, continuous practice and hard work can take a person to the top of life. In the
program, he also narrated the story of his struggling acting journey. Narrating the challenges and successes he faced while pursuing his dreams by choosing a path different from the wishes of his family, he urged the students to focus on their studies and make education the strongest foundation for building their lives.
Hamal's book 'Yug Dehi Yug Samm' covers his childhood, his contribution to the film industry and various aspects of his current life. The title of the book, based on a dialogue between Yagyash and Rajesh Hamal, is also linked to the first film in which Hamal acted. After the success of his first film, he created a unique identity in the Nepali film industry for a long time.
The program, facilitated by college professor Bishnu Sapkota, saw significant participation from students, parents, teachers, staff and local creators. After the
program, the students were excited to take pictures, take selfies and make reels with Hamal. Hamal also signed books for his readers and had a friendly chat with the participants.
