The collection of short poems ‘Dang Mahima’ written by former Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Sanskrit University Shivahari Marhatta has been released. Rapti Sahitya Parishad and Sarvodaya Library organized a program in Ghorahi on Sunday and launched the book.
Senior journalist and writer Narayan Prasad Sharma of Dang released the book. While releasing the book, Sharma said that the book discusses Sanskrit education as well as the glory of Dang.
The book was reviewed by Keshav Subedi and Kishore Chandra Gautam. Marhatta was the Vice-Chancellor of Sanskrit University twice. While working at the university, he wrote about various aspects of the historical and cultural importance of Dang as well as the dignity of Sanskrit education and prepared the book. Former Registrar of the university Jagat Prasad Upadhyay has written a critical commentary on the book.
