The second Falgunanda Literary Festival-2082 has been concluded. Two distinguished writers were also honored on the occasion of the festival organized at the Tijok Multicultural Park in Navamidanda, Falgunanda Rural Municipality-1.

The 'Falgunanda Pragya Literary Award' was presented to poet, lyricist, writer and film director Upendra Subba at the festival, while the 'Falgunanda Pragya Matrubhasa Award' was presented to Limbu mother tongue activist, poet and politician Bir Nembang.

The festival was organized by Falgunanda Rural Municipality with the support of Falgunanda Rural Municipality and Falgunanda Pragya Pratisthan.

At the festival, Dr. Madhuraj Kerung presented a working paper on the topic of 'Literators within Falgunanda Rural Municipality and their contributions', while writer Prem Ojha gave a presentation on the topic of 'Tourism opportunities and challenges within Falgunanda Rural Municipality'. Similarly, anthropologist Dilvikram Angdembe presented a talk on ‘Place names related to the myth of Mukkuhang from Nibukhola to Sukepokhari’.

Meanwhile, a collection of poems ‘Nalekheko Tamsuk’ written by poet Gajendra Soje Rai was released.

According to Rajkumar Angdembe (Raj Dilanli), chairman of the Tijok Multicultural Park Management Committee, ‘Alvedar’ road, electricity, drinking water and solar grid are needed.
