The 'Poetry with Tea' program, which has been running in conjunction with Dhankuta's first community radio, Dhankuta FM, has completed one year.
The organizer stated that the program has provided a common platform for creators to meet, recite poetry and engage in creative dialogue regularly, revitalizing local literary activities in a short period of time.
Stating that the program has played an important role in reviving the declining literary atmosphere in Dhankuta, ‘Chiyasang Kavita’ is continuously working on literary development and identifying new talents.
Director Gopal Baraili said that the first anniversary of this journey will be celebrated with a special program.
According to the organizer, the ‘Chiyasang Kavita Dhankuta Sahitya Ratna Puraskar’ worth Rs 15,000, ‘Youth Literature Prize’ worth Rs 5,000, ‘New Talent Prize’ worth Rs 5,000 and ‘Journalism Prize’ worth Rs 5,000 will be awarded on the occasion of the anniversary. In addition, Baraili informed that the creators who participated in the program from the beginning and those who have supported the program in various ways will also be honored.
