Bhairav Puraskar Guthi announced the names of the recipients of three different awards established in the memory of famous humorist Bhairav Aryal on Friday.
The name of the award recipients was approved by the meeting held under the chairmanship of senior writer Rochak Ghimire, chairman of Bhairav Award Guthi. According to which, the Bhairav Award of the year 2082 will be awarded to Krishna Pradhan, a senior humorist based in India-Silgudi. The amount of this award is 1 lakh 11 thousand 111 rupees .
Bhairav Award is going to be dedicated to creators outside of Nepal for the first time . Similarly, Guthi informed that senior artist Hari Prasad Sharma will be awarded the Bhairav Wangmay Award worth Rs 1 lakh 1 thousand 111. The Bhairav Pratibha Award of 51 thousand 111 rupees will be awarded to Vivash Pokharel of Biratnagar Morang. To select the names of
award recipients, Guthi formed a selection committee headed by writer Vasant Rizal, with writers Narendraraj Paudel and Prahlad Pokharel as members.
The announced prizes will be distributed in a program at Bhairav Smriti Bhawan located in Gokarneshwar-5, Kathmandu on October 3rd. Basant Rizal, secretary of Guthi, informed that Guthi's general sama will also be held on the same day.
