On the occasion of the first memorial day of Kaski's educational leader Nanda Prasad Adhikari, a memorial book was released on Sunday in Pokhara.

The book published by Adhikari's family was jointly released by Khagraj Adhikari, Member of UML Standing Committee and Gandaki Province UML Parliamentary Party Leader, Provincial Assembly Member Bhim Bahadur Karki.  The

memoir contains 31 articles written by the officer's family members, his students, and those who collaborated with him in various educational and religious institutions. An article written by the officer before his death is also included in the book. In his article, he has discussed the changes brought about by the development of technology and teaching experience. He also pointed out that unemployment, corruption, unstable politics are major problems in the development of Nepal. It is mentioned in his article that education and skill development for the future generation, ethics and honesty, environment protection, job creation, cultural heritage protection, stable government should be given attention.  Speaking after the release of

, UML leader Adhikari said that Nanda Prasad was the source of his political inspiration. Leader Adhikari recalled that he used to take his advice when faced with some difficulties. 

Adhikari's son Deepak Adhikari said that the book was published to keep his father's contribution alive in the campaign of social reform. He said that he will distribute books to all the schools where his father taught. Few of us knew my father. After publishing the book, he has now been saved in an archive," he added. "There is a plan to send it to the school where he taught. After that, students will know about his contribution to the development of the school.' 

Adhikari was one of the most active in the teachers' movement of the 1930s. He taught at Kanya Mavi, Chandraprabha Mavi, Tribhuvan Shanti Mavi, Brahmarupa Mavi of Kaski. He studied Sanskrit in Pokhara and studied from Banaras to Shastri. He was involved in the organization of the Communist Party underground in Kaski from 2026 to 2036 while he was still in the teaching profession. After retiring from the teaching profession in 054, Adhikari was active in UML politics. He was UML's Gandaki Province Committee Advisor. 

On January 13, 1994, Adhikari, who was born in Dandather (now Pokhara-31) of Begnas gavis, died at the age of 87.
