The national flag carrier Nepal Air Service Corporation has held a poetry competition on the occasion of its 67th anniversary.
Current employees and ex-employees of the corporation participated in the competition, Pramila Luintel won first, Vinay Paudel second and Bhaskar Khanal third. Narayan Paudel and Saugat Wagle received consolation prizes. 23 employees of the corporation recited poems in the competition.
The winning poet was awarded by the chief guest and executive chairman of the corporation, Yuvraj Adhikari, writer, with cash prizes, certificates and tokens of love. He recited a poem from his poetry collection 'Yuddh Yudh Nai Hore' which was published recently. Writers Dr. Navraj Lamsal, Prada Devi Nepal and Kalpana Kafle were among the judges of the
competition.
