Poet Basant Chaudhary's first short story 'Devayani' has been released during a program organized in Lalitpur on Wednesday.
In the first phase of the program, the reading experience of writers Uma Subedi, Amar Neupane, Vishwamohan Shrestha, Usha Sherchan, reviewer Kumari Lama and journalist Babita Basnet were presented.
The author and reviewer said that the novel 'Devayani' has exposed the latent love of Nepali society. Writer Amar Neupane said that this novel captures the mood of men in an impressive manner, while reviewer Kumari Lama said that this book portrays the silent rebellion of women in a powerful way.
Similarly, in the second phase, actor Divyadev had a conversation with writer Basant Chaudhary focusing on writing and the novel 'Devayani'.
writer Choudhary said that although countless stories have been written on the subject of love, he has penned a completely different part of love existing in the society . He said, 'Love is the same . The way of expressing and receiving is different . The society is reluctant to talk about the love I wrote in Devayani . No one has written on that page. So I wrote .' Speaking about his writing process, the writer Basant Chaudhary mentioned that he has taken the reality of the society.
is the digital launch of 'Devayani' published by Shangrila Books. Earlier, Chaudhary has published 22 works of poems, songs, ghazals and essays. 'Devayani' is his 23rd work .
