A book containing the successful life stories of 50 Nepali people who returned from working in South Korea and ran successful businesses in Nepal has been released.

The book written by Shiv Prasad Pokharel was jointly released by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Theang and Khong Muhan, Head of KOICA Nepal, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal. Speaking at the

event, Finance Minister Paudel praised the example of being able to transform the experience and skills of foreign employment into a business in the country and expressed his belief that others can also take inspiration from it in the future. "This kind of book not only inspires, but also plays a role in strengthening the relationship between the two countries," he said.

Ambassador Park Theyang and COI chief Muhan also expressed their belief that the book will add a new dimension to Nepal-Korea relations. The book contains the stories of Nepali workers who went to Korea as industrial trainees in the 1990s and went through the EPS system after 2007. Using the skills, capital and experience they have acquired in Korea, they have successfully run businesses in the fields of agriculture, manufacturing, services and education.

The book contains the life stories of 50 people and includes the experience of 20 entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector, 16 in the agricultural sector, 9 in the service sector and 5 in the teaching sector. In the

program, Suresh Bahadur Chhetri and Dharmaraj Joshi narrated their professional journey experiences and said that the key to success is patience, investment and hard work. On that occasion, special video content prepared on 11 businesses of Lumbini province was also presented.
