Senior musician Ranjit Gajmer has been honored with this year's 'Bise Nagarchi National Personality Samman'.
The prestigious award being given by the Gorkha Foundation was awarded this year during a grand ceremony held at Birtamode in Jhapa on Saturday.
Music composer Gajmer has given music to classical songs like 'Isharale Bolaun Palai', 'Soon Bhan Na', 'Kusume Rumal', 'Bas Hai Aama', 'Tungnako Dhunma', 'Lahnale Jurayo Ki'. Gajmer's contribution to the field of Nepali cinema and modern music has been highly appreciated.
