Poet Kavita Rai Village's collection of poems 'Fatakama Gham' has been released. In Fikkal of Kavi Village's home district of Ilam, 'Fatakma Gham' has been published.
In the event, poet Manprasad Subba, professor Rajan Mukarung, poet Rai and others released the book.
Subba, who is the chief guest, while discussing the book, said, "The poet has brought the questions of people's livelihood in the sunshine of the gate with great pleasure." This is why this collection of poems has become special.'
Similarly, Sikkimese poet Praveen Khaling said that some of Rai's poems seem like stories from his own home. He said, "Despite being a feminist poem, there is no violence in his poetry." Also, he has used the surrounding weather, hills and special stones as images.' The villager, the creator of the
poetry collection, said that she has written what she has seen and experienced in a simple and easy way. She said, "I have published it as a collection covering various aspects of the society". I am confident that the readers will like it. In the
program, poets Dewan Kirati, Bimal Vaidya, Krishna Baral, Rajan Mukarung and others recited poems included in the poetry collection. The poetry collection is brought to the market by Ratna Bookstore.
"Phataka Gham" is the first poetry collection of a villager who started writing poetry in 2048. This work contains 49 of his poems.
