What do people want in life? In search of an answer to this question, an interaction was held in Bharatpur on Saturday on the philosophy-based book 'Ananda Samhita' written about the methods of happiness and joy that humans can get. Chittoun court organized a discussion program about 'Anand Samhita' written by Kantipur journalist Ghanshyam Khadka.
Focusing on the book, Acharya Laxman Bhandari said, 'This book is a collection of Ananda's rules and sutras. Many of the sentences in the book are of the kind that should be written on the wall. Meditation is important to make the mind free from disorders. Because the method and practice of meditation are in this book, the book is intensive in this respect as well.'
Bhandari said that the source of happiness is the person himself and the method to get it is in the 'Ananda Samhita'. The book sheds light on what is the tendency to cover happiness. It contains essays that motivate people," said Bhandari. As there are some linguistic and grammatical errors, he suggested to correct them in the next edition.
Similarly, Sarita Tiwari talked about the book with writer Khadka and ex-MP and ex-minister of Wagmati Pradesh Vijay Subedi and young agricultural entrepreneur Sujata Devkota. Politician Subedi is also a student of Buddhist philosophy. Subedi said that this book will become a guide for a good life. What is pain and suffering? What is happiness and what is the importance of life? He said that these topics are covered in a systematic way in the book.
Young agricultural entrepreneur Sujata Devkota said that she is always interested in reading books and books that give positive feelings are her choice. After reading Siddhartha's book, I got an opportunity to read Ananda Samhita. The kind of motivation that Nepali society needs now is in the book. I enjoyed reading the book. Here is a philosophy and it is tried to make it clear by giving an example. Those examples motivate,' said Sujata.
Author Ghanshyam Khadka, who wrote the book with the thought that positive issues of society and the world environment should be collected and brought to the public. While doing journalism for a long time, I thought that we should also collect the good things of the society. The information that the news gives to people does not mean that it creates only positive feelings. It is an attempt to fill that lack with books,' said Khadka.
