With the slogan 'Literature for Tourism', the 'Fourth Elam Literature Festival' will be held in Ilam on Chait 1 and 2.

Famous writers, thinkers, poets, artists and politicians from Nepal, India and Bangladesh will participate in the festival, said Prakash Thamsuhang, president of the Ilam City Literature and Culture Academy. "Discussions on various aspects of politics and society will be held in the festival along with arts," he said.

Anand Kumar, former professor of Jawaharlal Nehru University in India, will present notes on environment and democracy. On the first day, there will be a debate between Han Yug unknown on village beauty, Tika Ram Yatri, Ani Choing Dolma and Meen Bham on art and spirituality. Similarly, journalist Deepak Sapkota will hold a debate with singer Prakash Saput on the anti-discrimination debate. Journalist Fanindra Sangam will interact with Shravan Mukarung, Mishra Vaijayanti and Abhay Shrestha in the identification session of poetry.

Pradeep Menyangbo will hold a debate with Arjunbabu Mabohang, Mohansingh Thebe and Sandhya Subba Singezango on Mundhum and Environment. Journalist Raman Paudel will talk with Minister of Communications Prithvisubba Gurung on the topic of social media and price crisis. Similarly, journalist Giriraj Baskoto will have a dialogue with Chavi Lal Khatiwada, Vishnu Kafle and Praveen Khaling on the future path of the tour. 

President Thamsuhang said that on the first day evening, Navraj Parajuli's Elam poetry concert has been scheduled. On the second day of the

festival, Tika Chhetri will have a conversation with Krishna Paudel, Yogendraman Shrestha and Gayatri Thegim in the Elame Ilam: Career and Money session. Sessions will also be held on Youth Dreams and Struggles, Digital Age and Creator's Confusion, Page of Identity in Academic Research, Mandakantra Character Discussion, From War to Peace, Looking Back on Life, Embodying Diversity in South Asia Through Translation, Politics of Hope and Disappointment. 

leader Gagan Thapa, Narayankaji Shrestha, Gokarn Bishta  Also, writers Khagendra Sangraula, Krishna Khanal, journalists Basant Basnet, Rajan Mukarung, Munaraj Sherma, Ken Subedi, Shailendra Adhikari, Chandra Gurung and others will participate in the debate.

The festival organized by Ilam Nagar Sahitya Art Culture Institute and Ilam Literary Society will have the cooperation of Nepal Pragya Foundation, Lalitkala Pragya Foundation and Redpanda Network .
