Professor P. Kharel's new book 'Democracy Rupture, Channel Capture Beneath and Beyond the Borders' has been launched. On Monday morning, Tribhuvan University Principal (Rector) Khadg KC, Head of Central Department of Journalism and Mass Communication Kundan Aryal, Professor Kharel, Tank Upreti, Sriram Paudel jointly launched the book.
Rector KC said that Professor Kharel's writing activity and perseverance are motivating others. Stating that Kharel is an 'icon' in the teaching profession, Rector Casey expressed his belief that the published book will help in study and teaching.
Writer and Professor Kharel said that he devoted his life to study and writing. He said that he regularly publishes articles, compositions and books to study the books he likes and convey his ideas. He also expressed his belief that this book will help the reader even if it is only a little. Head of Journalism and Mass Communication Department, Aryal opined that the department will benefit from the guardianship of author Kharel and the new book will be an inspiration for the readers. The book of 295 pages contains eight chapters. The book is published by Mandap Publication House.
