Tikapur Literary Festival

The second edition of 'Tikapur Literary Festival' will be held from February 24th to 26th. According to a statement issued by the organizers, the second edition will feature the first dramatist of Nepal and the national pride of Far West Pahalmansingh Swar.

The festival named 'Pahlmansingh Swar Sahitya Special Edition' will be started with a scholarly lecture by writer and scholar Hari Sharma. There will be 21 debate sessions at the

festival. In which Narrator Narayan Dhakal, Keshav Dahal, Buddhisagar, Saraswati Pratishka, Pragati Rai, Saguna Shah, Ranjana Niraula, Suman Varsha Ghimire,  Prabha Baral etc. will debate on various topics of Nepali narrative.

Similarly, writers Bindu Subedi, Yuvraj Nayaghare, Prateek Dhakal, Mohan Mainali, Ghanshyam Khadka will discuss and analyze Nepali non-narrative and philosophy of life. Critic Lakshman Prasad Gautam, Gyanu Adhikari, Dr. Bratraj Acharya as well as the former vice-chancellor of Sudurpaschim University Ammarraj Joshi and Dhananjay Timilsina will present critical views on Nepali literature.

Poet Shyamal, Biplav Prateik, Seema Abhas and talented young poets from the Far West, Devvrat, Khem Batas, BP Astu, Hemant Shishir and Kalpana Joshi will discuss the Nepali poetry genre. Actress Keki Adhikari and actor Vijay Baral will also participate in the festival .  In addition to

literature, the festival will also discuss topics such as alternative politics, women's leadership at the local level, society, Tharu culture, development, tourism, Dalit issues, and philosophy of life. It is said that the challenges and opportunities of Tikapur will also get special priority in the festival.
