The twelfth edition of Nepal Literature Festival is going to be held in Pokhara from February 15 to 18. The information was given at a press conference held on Friday in Pokhara by Bookworm Foundation, the organizer of the festival to be held at Lakeside, Barahighat, Pokhara.
According to Bookworm, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung will inaugurate the festival. We are working with the aim of making the twelfth edition of the festival more special and exciting. We expect your support in this 'Kumbha Mela' of literature to be the same as in the previous editions,' said the statement of Bookworm.
This time, the organizers said that more than 200 writers, politicians, writers, artists, journalists, editors and special personalities will be present at the festival. Similarly, more than 50 discussion sessions, interactive programs, musical performances and other creative programs are also included in the release. Buddha Air promoted the festival with Ncell Foundation as the main presenter.
'This time the festival will start with the scholarly discourse of Professor and Economist Mahendra P Lama,' the statement said, 'The bookworm foundation believes that Manisha Koirala and Vijay Kumar's special dialogue on spirituality and struggle will be the center of attraction. festival, there will be a discussion on the novel 'Comrade Jaljala' written by Mohan Vikram Singh, a senior left wing leader and CPN Masal General Minister. "In this edition of the festival, we are proud to announce the picture book titled 'Mermaid, Whale and Princess' by author Bhumilakshmi Parajuli, who has just turned 6 years old," said the statement. It is said that the launch of
entrepreneur and writer Ziva Lamichhane's book 'Intact Antarctica' will also be an attraction of the festival.
