The twelfth edition of Nepal Literature Festival is going to be held in Pokhara from February 15 to 18. This information was given in a press conference organized by Bookworm Foundation on Friday in Pokhara, where literature lovers from home and abroad will gather at the festival to be held at Barahighat, Lakeside of Pokhara.

Bookworm says that Minister of Information Communication and Technology Prithvisubba Gurung will inaugurate the festival. We are working with the aim of making the twelfth edition of the festival more special and exciting. In this 'Kumbha Mela' of literature, we expect their support to be the same as in the previous editions,' said the statement issued by Bookworm.  

This time, the organizer has informed that more than two hundred writers, politicians, writers, artists, journalists, editors and special personalities from home and abroad will be present at the festival. Also, the release mentions that more than 50 discussion sessions, interactive programs, musical performances and other creative programs are also included.  

"This time, the festival will start with a lecture by Professor and Economist Mahendra P Lama," the statement said, "After the lecture, Bookworm Foundation believes that Manisha Koirala and Vijay Kumar's special dialogue on spirituality and struggle will be the center of attraction." Similarly, the cover of Nepali cinema's great hero Rajesh Hamal's book 'Yug to Yug Samg' and Pustakansh release is also one of the various special sessions. entrepreneur and author Ziva Lamichhane's much-awaited book 'Intact Antarctica' will also be an attraction of the festival. Nepali American writer Ranjan Adiga's participation will be in two sessions of the festival according to the organizers. In musical programs, there will be a group performance under the leadership of Kiran Nepali under Project Sarangi. Similarly, Om Vikram Bista, who is known as the pop-emperor of the Nepali music world, will also make the festival buzz. In the

festival, there will be a discussion on the novel "Comrade Jaljala" written by Mohan Vikram Singh, a senior left wing leader and General Minister of CPN Masal. After the Nepal Literature Festival was organized since 2011, dozens of literary festivals have started to be held in Nepal annually, Ajit Baral, director of the festival, said in a press conference held in Pokhara on Friday. "Such festivals have now become widespread. From schools to colleges and even from wards to rural villages, such literary festivals have started," he said, "in this month of February alone, seven literary festivals are being held in Nepal. Festivals of literature and ideas are being held in Surkhet, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dhading, Kankarvitta, Biratnagar and Tikapur.
