A landslide accompanied by incessant rains has buried a house in Kalikhola Niware Tole of Sidingwa Rural Municipality-1, while some other houses are also at risk.
Ward Chairman Gopal Baniya informed that the landslide buried the house of Jibnath Baniya on Tuesday morning.
According to him, Sita Baniya, who is also a child development facilitator at a local school, had been living in the house with her children.
After the area around the house became tense on Monday afternoon, they went to the house of their neighbor Dil Bahadur Baniya in the evening. Ward Chairman Baniya said that they could not move the household goods.
