Out of the 125 projects implemented by the Infrastructure Development Office Khotang, about a dozen projects have been incomplete. The projects have remained incomplete due to the construction companies not starting work on time after signing the agreement and not doing any work at all.
Of the five major projects implemented by the office in the current fiscal year, the Hurlung-Jalpa-Sapteshwor-Baksila road, Nunthala-Jaubari-Kubhinde-Haramtar-Aiselukhark road, Bangsila-Chisapani-Mauwabote road, Hospital Chowk-Sakela road and Dikhuwa Khola bridge have remained incomplete.
