Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, who spent 2 days in Dhankuta on Saturday and Sunday, has made direct phone calls with service recipients and taken information about the status of government service delivery. He has taken information from the police administration and employees about the treatment and role of service recipients.
Having spent a few years in Dhankuta during his schooling, he has met with relatives, friends and teachers, visited the famous Nishan Temple and even gave instructions to the District Security Committee.
Home Minister Gurung has inspected the District Administration Office and the District Police Office, especially the sections dealing with public concern for good governance and justice, including case filing. He also gave instructions to the chiefs of the security agencies of Dhankuta district to make the services provided to service recipients faster and more efficient by the police administration.
While inspecting the District Administration Office and the District Police Office, Home Minister Gurung had jointly instructed the Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma, the heads of security agencies at all three levels, and the heads and employees of various government offices. The Home Minister, who arrived in Dhankuta on Saturday night, returned to Dharan on Sunday afternoon. He also inspected the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan on Sunday itself.
