Landslides and floods caused by the rain have damaged three houses in Phaktanglung Rural Municipality of Taplejung. Police have also reported that a hydroelectric project in Meringden Rural Municipality has also been damaged. According to Yagya Prasad Sawaden, ward chair of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality-1, Sawadin, a landslide that fell from above a house in a place called Temrang in the ward has damaged the house of Ganesh Katwal and Durga Katwal. Ward chair Sawaden informed that the landslide swept away the goats and other livestock of Narendra Limbu, who had built a house on Ganesh's land, and also damaged the house and toilet. 

Ganesh and Durga are brothers. Sawaden informed that the landslide occurred from the foot of the cliff above their house and the flood entered the house along with the landslide.  police have also reported that the Madhyameva Hydropower Project in Mikwakhola Rural Municipality has also been damaged by the flood. The dam of the project has been damaged due to the flood.

The road connecting Meringden Rural Municipality-5, Thukima, and Ward No. 6, Nalbu, which was blocked due to rain and landslides on Monday morning, has been operational since the afternoon. The rural municipality has stated that the road has been brought into operation after removing the obstruction.
