Yangwarak Rural Municipality, which has been suffering from floods and landslides, has banned the cutting and transportation of gravel until Bhadau to reduce the risk.
The rural municipality has asked that no cutting and transportation of gravel be carried out from the internal roads of the municipality from Asad 15 to mid-Bhadau in accordance with the provisions of the 'Work Procedures for Cutting and Transporting Roads, 2082'.
In a notice made public by Acting Chief Administrative Officer Saugat Sharma, it is stated that this decision has been taken because rural roads become muddy during the rainy season, the road is further damaged due to the operation of heavy vehicles, and the movement of the general public is affected.
