The first convention held on Sunday elected the working committee under Gurung's leadership. Sahar Singh Tamang has been unanimously elected as the vice-president, Kushal Jabegu and Kabihang Sailing as the secretary, and Sirjana Ijam as the treasurer.
Similarly, the election committee has stated that Gyanendra Rasaili, Rudra Chamlagain, Rekha Lawati, Sabina Rai, Ishwori Niraula, Khagendra Sigdel, Prayagraj Subedi and Indra Lawati have been elected as members.
Ranjan Ojha, a member of 26 different committees, informed that the convention was attended by 26 members.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held its district convention on Sunday itself. The convention unanimously elected the office bearers, members and committee coordinators of all posts.
