A 21-member new district working committee led by Bhaktanarayan Shrestha was elected unopposed at the first district convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) Sankhuwasabha held on Sunday.
The convention has re-appointed Shrestha as the district president. He has previously served as the president of the RSWP Sankhuwasabha. Suman Dangi has been elected as the vice president of the new working committee, Sunil Shrestha as the secretary, Pavitra Bajgain as the treasurer, and Santosh Basnet as the joint secretary.
President Shrestha has expressed his commitment to making the organization stronger and more effective throughout the district.
