The road has been blocked after floods washed away the mid-hill highway in Pangkhukhola in Buwalung, Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-8. The road was blocked after the floods on Friday evening washed away the road.
Dinesh Kathayat, ward chairman of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-9, said that buses, sumos and motorbikes going from Bhojpur to Kathmandu and Bhojpur were stranded after the road was washed away. Kathayat said that a dozer from Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has been brought in to open the road.
He said that it will take time to open the road. ‘The municipality’s dozer has been brought in to build the road,’ Kathayat said, ‘It takes time because the road has to be built.’
