A fire has broken out at the house of Baghbir Tamang of Baksila Khatri village in Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality-4. Tamang's house was gutted by an electrical short circuit.

According to Police Inspector Nirajan Basnet, the information officer at the District Police Office, Khotang, the house, which has a stone-clay roof and a tin roof, was gutted. Basnet said that even though the locals and the police brought the fire under control, all the food, clothes, etc. inside the house were burnt.
