Udayapur's Katari-Ghurmi road has been completely blocked due to landslides. On Tuesday evening, between Beteni and Hardeni,

The road was blocked after a landslide covered the road. According to locals, the road was closed after a large landslide fell from above the road about an hour and a half ago.

Although a dozer was sent to clear the road, the equipment was returned after the risk increased due to continuous landslides, said Katari Municipality-14 Ward Chairman Ambar Magar. He said that it was difficult to immediately reopen the road as the landslides continued with the continuous rain. After the road was blocked, passengers going to Okhaldhunga, Ghurmi and surrounding areas via Katari are facing problems. According to Rakesh Pokharel of Katari Municipality-14 Ghurmi, some vehicles are stopped on both sides of the road, while passengers have started moving to safer places.

The Area Administration Office, Katari and Katari Municipality have requested not to use the road section except for essential purposes.
