One person has died due to electrocution. Anand Rai, 43, of Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality-4, Batase, died on Wednesday.
Rai died due to electrocution when an electric wire shorted and fell to the ground from a pole, said Prakash Budhathoki, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Khotang.
Preparations are being made to bring his body to the District Hospital, Diktel, for a postmortem, Budhathoki said. ‘He died yesterday evening due to electrocution when an electric wire shorted and fell to the ground,’ Budhathoki said, ‘Preparations are being made to bring the body of the deceased to the District Hospital, Diktel, for a postmortem.’
