The establishment of the Area Administration Office in Makalu Rural Municipality-3, Hedangnagadhi has brought joy to the local residents. Now, the citizens of Bhotkhola and Makalu Rural Municipality in Sankhuwasabha have no longer had to go to the district headquarters to get general administrative services.

Earlier, they had to go to the district headquarters every day for essential documents such as citizenship, recommendation, residence certificate, etc. But now that the services are available in their own area, locals say that they have saved time, money, and labor.

According to local resident Raiman Rai, earlier they had to go to the district headquarters even for small work, but now it has become much easier because the services are available near their homes.

The office has also been established in Hedangnagadhi as per the government's policy of expanding the Area Administration Office with the aim of providing easy services to the citizens of remote areas. Head of the Area Administration Office, Jun Kumar Rai, expressed his commitment to making the service delivery more effective.

The Council of Ministers had decided to establish the office on 11 Pus 2082. The office has now come into operation as per the same decision. The office was jointly inaugurated by House of Representatives member Dr. Arjun Kumar Karki, Provincial Assembly member Rajendra Karki and Chief District Officer Sirjana Thapaliya on Monday.

With the expansion of administrative services in Hedangnagadhi, new possibilities for development have been seen at the local level, said Makalu Rural Municipality Chairman Waddi Sherpa. He expressed confidence that citizens' access to the state will be further strengthened as government services now reach the villages.
