Police have informed that 58-year-old Dambar Yonjan Tamang, a resident of Samnewa, Hilihang-7, Panchthar, died of electrocution, while 52-year-old Dhan Prasad Yawa, a resident of Hilihang Rural Municipality-6, died on the spot after being hit on the head by a stone thrown by Harichandra Yokpangden.

Dhan Prasad Yawa and Dambar Yonjan Tamang died after being electrocuted in a dispute in Hilihang Rural Municipality-6 of Panchthar, informed DSP Anish Kumar Karna, Chief of the District Police Office, Panchthar.
Police say that Dhan Prasad Yawa, 52, of Hilihang Rural Municipality-6, died on the spot after being hit on the head by a stone thrown by 54-year-old Harichandra Yokpangden as the dispute escalated. After the incident, Yokpangden was taken into custody and an investigation was started, and the body of the deceased has been brought to Panchthar Hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, another person died in Hilihang-7 after being electrocuted while felling bamboo. DSP Karna, Chief of the District Police Office, Panchthar, informed that 58-year-old Dambar Yonjan Tamang, a resident of Samnewa, Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 of Panchthar, died after being electrocuted.
