The third major Khotang Halesi Sports Literary and Tourism Festival is going to be held . The festival is going to be held in Diktel from 3rd to 9th Jestha under the organization of Nepal Sports Foundation and the management of Nepal Karate Federation Khotang . 

It was informed at a press conference in Diktel on Saturday that the festival will include athletics, intellectual activities and an open national literature festival . 

The organizers said that there will be a competition for 11 gold, 11 silver, 11 bronze medals in athletics, 4 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals in intellectual activities . Under this, there will be a one-mile race for boys and girls under 10 years, a 3-kilometer race for boys and girls under 12 years, a 7-kilometer race for boys and girls under 12 to 15 years, an open 10-kilometer race for men and women over 15 years, a 5-kilometer race for mothers, a 7-kilometer race for politicians, public representatives, journalists, employees, teachers and businessmen over 35 years, and a 2-kilometer race for men over 55 years. Similarly, an open national intelligence competition and an open national literature festival will be organized, said Sanjay Kumar Rai, chairman of the Nepal Sports Foundation. The organizers have stated that the athletics games will be held on Jestha 3, the intelligence competition on Jestha 6, and the open national literature festival on Jestha 9. National-level writers who have earned fame in the field of literature will participate in the literature festival. The organizers have also stated that five people who have contributed in various fields will be honored on the occasion of the festival.
