Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal honored Mayor Rai for receiving the best score of 90 percent in the indicators determined based on work performance. Rai said that the Ministry of Federal Affairs selected the municipality based on the evaluation of the work of the municipality and rural municipality.
Similarly, Halesi Tuwachung Municipality was honored on Wednesday for conducting women empowerment and child protection programs in the 10th Khotang District Assembly.
