Yamraj Limbu, 40, of Gairigaun, Myanglung Municipality-1, Tehrathum, who had been missing since February 20, has been found dead in Taplejung. His body was found in a decomposed state in Methen Khola, Phaktanglung Rural Municipality-2, according to the police.

According to Jatashankar Yadav, Police Inspector and Information Officer of the District Police Office, Limbu worked at the Upper Tamor Hydropower Company in Phaktanglung-5, Taplejung. After he left the company to go home on the 8th, but did not reach home, the family filed a complaint with the police on Chaitra 1 for a search. During the search, his body was found lying face down in a flowing river.

However, since it was in a decomposed state, the tattoo with the word 'Om' on his left hand revealed that the body was his. The police office has stated that the body brought to the district hospital will be handed over to the family after a post-mortem and the necessary investigation process will continue.
