Reshmika was raped and murdered in a place called Hakule in Marse Community Forest on Bhadra 30 while returning home from Panchami Bazaar. Since a 14-year-old minor was arrested in the incident, it is not possible for a single person to commit such a heinous crime, and they have demanded that the incident be investigated thoroughly and those involved be arrested.
The memorandum signed by Pariyar Family Unity Samaj President Ramesh Pariyar, Hingmang Ekta Samaj President Kumar Hingmang and Secretary Kulman Hingmang alleges that those involved in the murder of Inisha BK, who was raped and murdered in Surkhet, are being tried to be acquitted.
The family and relatives of Reshmika have been protesting at Maitighar Mandala since Sunday, demanding action against those involved in her murder, said Ramesh Pariyar of the Parivar Samaj. Chief District Officer Rekha Kandel said that an investigation into the Reshmika murder case is underway.
