One person has died and two others have been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident at Chaudandigadhi Municipality-10 Bhima on the Gaighat-Beltar road section along the Madan Bhandari Highway.
Police have said that the motorcycle (No. 01-05-002 Pa 1827) heading from Gaighat to Beltar lost control and the accident occurred.
The motorcycle had hit the north side of the road. The driver, Sameer Chaudhary, 18, of Chaudandigadhi-5, was seriously injured and was declared dead by the doctors upon being taken to the hospital.
Two other people riding behind the motorcycle, Mausam Chaudhary, 18, and Ashok Chaudhary, 23, of the same place, were seriously injured. Police have said that they have been referred to Biratnagar for further treatment.
A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Beltar, is investigating the nature of the incident by taking a report.
