In the House of Representatives elections held on Thursday, 124,590 votes were cast in the two constituencies of Udaipur. According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Udaipur, 124,590 votes were cast out of 238,926 voters in the district.

In Constituency No. 1, 79,956 votes were cast out of a total of 143,804 voters. Out of these, 42,672 women, 37,282 men and 2 other voters participated. About 56 percent of the vote was cast in that constituency.

Similarly, in Constituency No. 2, 44,634 votes were cast out of a total of 95,122 voters. Out of these, 21,682 women and 22,952 men participated. About 46 percent of the vote was cast in that constituency.

The voting was conducted peacefully and the voting process was completed within the stipulated time at all polling stations, said Chief Electoral Officer District Judge Mukesh Upadhyay.
