The District Administration Office, Taplejung, has sent a message to China's Dingze County to seal the Nepal-China border at Tiptala Bhanjyang for 72 hours.
According to Chief District Officer Shivraj Sedhai, the message was sent through the Armed Police Force Olangchungola BOP.
'We have sent a message to seal the border as per the rules for closing the border for the purpose of the House of Representatives election on Falgun 21,' Sedhai said. 'They (the Chinese government) have also understood that and implementation will begin.'
Sedhai informed that the entire border area with India has also been sealed. He said that the information was given through the Panchthar Administration Office.
