A man has been arrested on charges of raping a 13-year-old girl.

A teacher working at a school in Diktel has been arrested on charges of rape. The arrested teacher is from Solukhumbu. 

According to Police Inspector Sushant Mishra, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Khotang, the man was arrested on Saturday evening. 

The complaint filed by the victim states that he was raped by calling him to his room on the pretext of teaching him homework on Saturday. Mishra said that the arrest of the arrested man will be extended on Sunday and the investigation will be intensified.
