Nepal Samajwadi Party (NESPA) central member Sabitra Rai and 177 district-level leaders of UML have joined the Shram Sanskriti Party. 

Rai and UML district members have also joined the party at a program organized in Baksila, Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality on Thursday. According to Pratap Rai, chairman of the Shram Sanskriti Party Khotang, UML district secretariat member Ashish Rai, district member Prem Rai, UML Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality chairman Santosh Rai, secretary Bishal Rai, UML Kepilasgadhi-4 ward chairman Dinesh Rai, ward chairman of ward 2 Dik Bahadur Rai, ward chairman of ward 7 Yoman Rai, and ward secretary of ward 2 Arjun Rai, Rai said, adding that they were welcomed by Shram Sanskriti Party central vice-chairman Loknath Chudal.
