Phidim Municipality has a population of 47,810, with 12,336 households. Of these, 407 are children under 11 months, 155 are between 12 and 15 months, 373 are between 16 and 23 months, and 1,617 are between 24 and 59 months.
Mayor Mitra Prasad Kafle said that the municipality has been declared fully vaccinated by ensuring that children under 15 months receive regular vaccinations and that 1,990 are between 16 and 59 months receive the vaccination schedule.
At a function organized in the municipality, District Vaccination Coordination Committee Member Secretary Mahesh Sunar presented a certificate of full vaccination assurance to Mayor Kafle, Deputy Mayor Radhakrishna Neupane, and Chief Administrative Officer Kumar Prasad Bhattarai.
At the program to declare a fully vaccinated municipality, letters of appreciation were distributed to Rama Pandey, the health post in-charge of Ward Office No. 9, Health Post Ranitar, and Health Post In-charge of Phidim 12, who played an important role in the campaign.
