UML Khotang leader and former chairman of Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality Krishna Kumar Rai has joined the Nepali Communist Party. Rai and 21 others joined the NCP at a program organized in Baksila Bazaar on Tuesday.

According to Rai, UML Rural Municipality Deputy Secretary Ramesh Pariyar, Area Committee Member Niran Shrestha, Ward No. 4 Baksila Village Working Committee Chairman Dinesh Rai and other leaders and cadres have left UML and joined the NCP.

CPN candidate Hari Roka, former MP Tanka Rai, former House of Representatives member Ram Kumar Rai and others welcomed the newcomers.
