The District Security Committee has stated that 21 of the 136 polling stations designated for the upcoming House of Representatives elections on Falgun 21 are highly sensitive.

Considering the peace and security situation during the election, 21 have been classified as highly sensitive, 64 as sensitive and 51 as normal.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Kopila Rai, Janpath and Election Police will be deployed in the first circle of the polling station, Armed Police Force in the second circle and Nepal Army in the third circle.

There are 136 polling stations and 195 polling centers in the district.

Rabin Magar, Chief of the District Election Office, Khotang, said that there are 147,120 voters in the district.
